Email signatures should appear through the end of tax season. - 2012 MyFreeTaxes Online Banners
Online banners are an advertising tool for the MyFreeTaxes partnership. These banners can be easily placed on websites to draw attention to the MyFreeTaxes partnership by clients.
Social Media Best Practices
Social media is an important piece of the MyFreeTaxes partnership. This prewritten content can be used in all local partner Twitter social media streams. If you intend to use Spanish language social media, please insure that you are able to serve Spanish-only speaking clients at sites and online. Use of this social media is ongoing but, similar to the banner, should be started as early as possible to draw the most traffic.

Marketing Best Practices
Posters can be displayed in lobbies, computer labs or hallways. Place in locations where people could be waiting for an extended period of time. The poster is a reminder that taxes aren’t scary, but easy – especially when they follow the steps indicated.
Feel free to display table tents on tables, counters, and front desks.
The folder is for the individual taxpayer at the VITA site to take away after they have completed their taxes. The folder is a tool in which the tax filer can keep all of their 2011 tax information in one place, including their login information for MyFreeTaxes.com and instructions on how to make sure they receive confirmation of their filing and refund (if they qualify) from the IRS.
Use the pre-designed business cards and the business card template form to customize your MyFreeTaxes cards. We will provide full instructions on the Business Card Template Form via email.
